NIU RQi Sport

The RQi Sport is a smart electric motorcycle created by electric scooter brand NIU from China. The company was founded in 2014 by the former CTO of Baidu (the Chinese Google) and a former employee of Microsoft. The company is listed on NASDAQ and provides exceptionally high-quality and durable products.

The RQi Sport has a high-efficient 7,500 瓦特 mid-mounted electric motor for a top speed of 110 公里/小时. The motor provides 93% energy conversion efficiency and 450 牛顿米 torque for an acceleration of 0 到 50 公里/小时，耗时 2.9 秒. The weight balance is optimized for performance and superior handling.

The RQi Sport has two removable 36 安培小时 lithium batteries with a high performance battery cooling system. The batteries are of the same type as the batteries in the Tesla Model S. NIU provides 2 years warranty on the batteries.

The RQi Sport is equipped with state of the art technologies from premium brands. The motorcycle has high-performance Brembo brake calipers with front and rear dual-channel ABS and dual-wheel TCS (Traction Control System). The motorcycle has Pirelli tires and a Kinetic Energy Recovery System (KERS) or regenerative braking in which energy from braking is returned to the battery.

The motorcycle has a Cloud-ECU LTE V45 controller with a CAN-BUS network that provides ultra-fast computing power.

The motorcycle has state of the art features including NFC based keyless lock, Bluetooth sense based Smart Lock and dual front and rear video cameras that in the event of an emergency, using a built-in impact detection system, automatically records the event and uploads it to the cloud. The video cameras can also be used to record rides.

Other features include an advanced anti-theft system, GPS based locator and tuning of the motorcycle via a mobile phone app.

The RQi Sport has a digital dashboard.
